Flexicon Bulk-Out Bulk Bag Dischargers (also known as FIBC, Big Bag and Jumbo Bag Unloaders) are offered in numerous frame configurations. The two most popular are BFF Series dischargers with a bag lifting frame for forklift loading and unloading of bulk bags, and the BFC Series dischargers with a cantilevered I-beam, electric hoist and trolley for loading and unloading of bulk bags without use of a forklift.
Other bulk bag unloader configurations include split frames for forklift loading of bags in low headroom areas, half frames for suspending bags during discharge using a forklift, and other designs satisfying highly specialized requirements.
All Bulk-Out Bulk Bag dischargers are offered with a broad range of innovative accessories delivering an unprecedented level of efficiency, cleanliness and economy. A range of integral flow promotion devices are available, as are dedicated bulk bag conditioners that loosen bulk solid materials that have solidified during storage and shipment, enabling bulk bag unloaders to discharge the material through bag spouts.

Flexicon Hydraulic Bulk Bag Conditioner
Flexicon Block Buster Hydraulic Bulk Bag Conditioners loosen bulk solid materials that have solidified during storage and shipment, enabling bulk bag unloaders to discharge the material through bag spouts.
These conditioners are recommended for bulk bags containing hygroscopic chemicals, certain types of spice blends, heat-sensitive products, and other material prone to solidifying to the point at which pneumatically-activated flow promotion accessories integral to bulk bag dischargers are inefficient or completely ineffective.
Block Buster Bulk Bag Conditioners are available integrated into Bulk Bag Unloading frames, or as self-standing units. Both configurations utilize two hydraulic rams with specially contoured end plates to press opposing sides of bulk bags. Conditioning plates are offered in standard and custom profiles matched to specific materials and bag design.

Flexicon Bag Dump Stations include reverse-pulse filter cleaning for continuous operation. The bag dump station collects dust generated when dumping powder and bulk solids from bags, boxes, drums, and other containers, and return the material to the hopper.
The systems reduces material waste and eliminates the need to clean a remote dust collection site. while protecting the workers and preventing plant contamination. All units feature a high-velocity vacuum fan that draws airborne dust away from the operator through two cartridge filters that are sized according to the application.
To operate a Bag Dump Station, the hopper lid is opened, the vacuum fan is activated, and material is dumped through the hopper screen. Airborne dust in the vicinity of the hopper opening is drawn into the dust collector. An automatic reverse-pulse filter cleaning system employs timer-activated solenoid valves to release short blasts of compressed plant air inside the cartridge filters, causing dust build-up on the outer filter surfaces to fall into the hopper.
The hoppers are available in various configurations for simplified connection to pneumatic conveying lines, flexible screw conveyors, and virtually any process equipment. All units are available in carbon steel with durable industrial finishes, or in stainless steel in industrial or sanitary finishes.
Various Containers
We offer Sealed or open-chute dumping of bulk materials from drums, boxes, totes, and other containers. Flexicon’s dust free Tip-Tite Container Dumpers and Open-Chute Container Dumpers accommodate popular sizes of drums, boxes, and other containers used for storage and shipment of of bulk solid materials.
All are offered in mild steel with durable industrial finishes, with stainless material contact surfaces, or in all-stainless models finished to food, dairy, pharmaceutical or industrial standards. In addition, all are available with Flexicon mechanical or pneumatic conveyors, rotary air-lock valves or with flanged outlets to feed any process.
TIP-TITE Dumpers improve dumping of bulk materials from drums-boxes-totes and other containers 4 ways:
1. Stop Dust. We hydraulically raise and rotate the container, creating a dust-tight seal against a discharge hood that mates with a gasketed inlet port fitted to any receiving vessel. Pneumatic or manual slide gates control product flow.
2. Improve Safety. Ergonomic concerns of manual methods can be eliminated with controlled, automatic TIP-TITE Dumpers, which incorporate features of stringent global safety standards.

Options include: POP-TOP Extension Arms (BFF), POWER-CINCHER flow control valve, TELE-TUBE telescoping tube with SPOUT-LOCK clamp ring, single filter BAG-VAC dust collector, TEFC or wash-down motor, UL listed Control Panel, NEMA 4, magnetic differential pressure gauge, and Flexible Screw Conveyor.

A Bulk Bag weight capacity of 4,000 lbs. and can accommodate Bulk Bags 36″ – 72″ tall, seam widths to 36″, and filled widths to 48″. Heavy-duty carbon steel frame with durable industrial coatings. A Four-sided safety enclosure with hinged access doors and a NEMA 4 interlock switch.
